The Drunken Commitments
Drunken Commitment: An unkept promise made to one or more persons while under the influence of alcohol with every intention of living up to the commitment, but without the ability to remember it in the morning.
Our Story
Darren and Junior met in early 2003 and became friends even before discovering each other's musical talents.  Their joint musical interests actually started in the studio at Titanium Music Productions. Darren produced, engineered and even accompanied Junior on his first recording at Titanium.  About the same time, Darren started a new performance at some local bars, which he called "Darren Noble and Friends,"  Through out the show Darren would have different musicians sit in and join him on stage, sometimes even having them play an impromptu song by themselves.

This is where The Drunken Commitments were conceived.  Nearly every evening you would find the two of them on stage until one night it became a natural idea to make a "drunken commitment" to form a dynamic duo.  The Drunken Commitments first took the stage officially in August of 2005 at a bar called Bimini Bills.  Since that time, they have been performing every week in and around the Dayton, OH area.  Since the beginning of 2006 they have added this website to share up coming dates and photographs of their late night parties with their friends.

The Drunken Commitments still keep a spot open for special guests to join them on stage.  Whether it's an old trusted friend or a musician from the crowd that they get to know between sets, you never know who might be jumping up there to play or sing a song with them.  Darren & Junior make it a point during the breaks to meet new friends.  They always take requests and encourage the audience to make them.

Their request sheet includes about 150 songs spanning from Elvis and the Beatles to songs like Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett and Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison.  You'll also hear them knocking out tunes from bands like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Coldplay & Jack Johnson. They truly have an array of music for everyone to enjoy.
